Hey students and families! The school year may be coming to an end, but student ministry at Hope Waukee is not over! We have a bunch of fun events for students in grades 6-12 to grow in faith and community this summer. Bring a friend! We can’t wait to see you there!

2024 Summer Events
Summer Bash | June 5
5:30-7:00 pm for PowerLife (entering grades 6-8)
7:30-9:00 pm for Ignition (entering grades 9 – graduated seniors)
at Hope Waukee West Lot
All students are invited to attend this epic summer kick-off in the Hope Waukee West Lot with free food, inflatables, games, and more! Bring friends!
PowerLife Game Night | July 10
Wednesday, July 10, 6:00-8:00 pm at Spare Time
All students entering grades 6-8 are invited to join us for a fun night of arcade games, bowling and laser tag at Spare Time! Cost is $20.
Ignition Pool Party | July 13
July 13, 6:30-8:30 pm at Clive Aquatic Center
Calling all high school students! YOU are invited to join us at the Clive Aquatic Center for a fun pool party with your friends! We have rented the entire pool so bring a towel, some sun screen, and a friend (or two!) for this epic night! This event is cost-optional, but students are asked to register. Walk-ins are welcome!

Taste of Hope Waukee | July 28
Sunday, July 28, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Hope Waukee
Taste of Hope Waukee is the biggest Jesus party of the year, and we want YOU and your families to be a part of it! There will be inflatables, food, snow cones, and so much more for the entire community.
Back-to-School Worship & Color War! | August 21
Wednesday, Aug. 21, 6:30-8:00 pm at Hope Waukee
All students entering grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a back-to-school worship experience followed by an epic color war! Let’s kick off the 2024-25 school year with prayer and fun. Wear a white shirt and be prepared to get messy!

Ignite Sunday Night Bible Studies
Sundays, June 23 & 30, July 14 & 21, Aug. 4 & 11, 7:00-8:30 pm
Ignite Sunday Night Bible Studies are a great way for high school students to grow in faith and in community during the summer. Each night will include worship, snack, bible study, and a fun optional activity at the end.

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a fun night of community at the back patio of Hope Waukee on June 26 from 7:30-9:30 pm! There will be 9-square, gaga ball, lawn games, s’mores, and room to hang out with friends.
